A private vehicle does not change the weather.
- Warm clothing and a waterproof layer, since the canyon rim is exposed
- Hiking shoes, even without the long walk. The paths are gravel and wet

What to leave behind
Smoking is not allowed in the vehicle. There is no smoking break built into the drive either, so plan around it.
